Oops! Sorry, Scouser, I should maybe have been more specific. :embarasse
I see my wording is a little vague.

Yes, it's a SONG that happens to be from a movie.

''Baffled'' in an understatement!!:dizzy:
As far as I'm concerned this could be anything.
Me personally I'd go for ''My favourite things'' from the Sound of Music, as I see a lot of MY favourite things: Campbell's soup, California, puppy dog, Windows XP, pills  and America.
But somehow I don't think it's right

I didn't know that ;), but yes, I meant between the lamp and the dog :).

I don't want to sound precocious, but The Sound of Music is actually a lot closer than you think :rotfl:!

Re: Pictionary

Thanks rbud, nice pictionary, the funny thing is, after searching for what I first thought was a movie :banghead: I was singing that in my head after looking at your pictionary (some kind of subliminal message there  Must have been the Supacali part.

Simple one folks, its a song......

Re: Pictionary

First of all  to Rbud for an excellent Rebus, one word.......WOW!!!
And another WOW to Scouser and Helanren for finding the answer, wouldn't have gotten that in a million years, and yes nice touch Helanren ''precocious'' I was wondering about you using that somewhat pompous word

Then on to Scoucer's song, I see the Rolling Stones logo and some sugar, but I only know ''Brown Sugar'' from the Sticky Fingers Album.
But the Talking Heads have a number called ''Sugar on my tongue", so my guess goes to that one.

Re: Pictionary

Thanks celli, sorry about the delay , I was having problems uploading.......

Here we go, it a book title.

Helanren 07-31-2009 05:28 PM

Re: Pictionary

It looks quite complete, otherwise I'd said The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side by Agatha Christie?

celli 07-31-2009 05:38 PM

Re: Pictionary

Or an ''Unfinished Portrait" also from Agatha Christie but under the Nom de Plume of Mary Westmacott? Except the portait looks quite finished :doubt:
It's a shame you didn't give her fluffy ears or I would have guessed ''Who framed Roger Rabbit'' :cheesy: No no no no no no you ninny that's a movie and not a book :bonk:
The picture of Dorian Gray? But that doesn't make sense either.

vivi 07-31-2009 06:23 PM

Re: Pictionary

thought of murder on the dancefloor or third floor flat- but not raising any hopes

Scouser 07-31-2009 08:30 PM

Re: Pictionary

Helanren it is Agatha Christie,....
and no celli its not Dorian Gray. (I'll give you fluffy ears Mrs)

No vivi none of these.

Its not her name that matters, nor is one of her books.

celli 07-31-2009 09:52 PM

Re: Pictionary

OK then, she is a writer (obviously) so a ''framed'' writer. I have tried every possible way to Google writer and frame and picture frame and photo, nothing :hmmmthumb
How about.......In the Frame by Hellen Mirren?

Scouser 07-31-2009 10:49 PM

Re: Pictionary

You are sooooo close celli. You have one word spot on:biggrin:

vivi 08-01-2009 12:24 PM

Re: Pictionary

found how to frame a floor by glyn sheridan- i'll bet it's not that:zrant2:

Scouser 08-01-2009 12:39 PM

Re: Pictionary

And you would win the bet vivi............

celli just change with the second word !

vivi 08-01-2009 12:47 PM

Re: Pictionary

i've found all sorts of right frame things, but nothing that is remotely familiar (mostly books on how to frame!)

Scouser 08-01-2009 12:53 PM

Re: Pictionary

celli has the first word spot on with "Framed"

I think we are missing something.... if Christie is important, but not her name or her works I can't think of a lot to associate her with..maybe 'mystery'?
And "In xxxx frame" doesn't seem to give a lot of options either. "In a frame", "In one frame", "In my frame"....none of them really seem to make sense...

edit: missed those last posts ;). So it's "Framed xxx" instead...

vivi 08-01-2009 01:26 PM

Re: Pictionary

but the first word is framed- i can't find anything with that- thought about "framed outright", but i've never heard of it

Scouser 08-01-2009 02:32 PM

Re: Pictionary

I keep stressing on the fact celli has practically nailed it, Framed --------, whats another word for a writer?

vivi 08-01-2009 02:58 PM

Re: Pictionary

framed author? novelist- playwright! nothing rings a bell at all - i'm so depressed :(

Scouser 08-01-2009 03:06 PM

Re: Pictionary

Another word for writer/author ? you have just mentioned it in your above post !!

I'm getting as frustrated as everyone........

vivi 08-01-2009 03:07 PM

Re: Pictionary

framed playwright?? or framed novelist?

Scouser 08-01-2009 03:16 PM

Re: Pictionary

Second one. Now if you can just find me the author were in business.

Just noticed, it not framed but fram---

vivi 08-01-2009 03:25 PM

Re: Pictionary

and therein lies the problem- i have been googling the title for ages along with my other attempts- i get nothing but "framing a novelist"- some literary criticism book

Framing a Novelist: Arno Schmidt Criticism 1970-1994 (Literary Criticism in Perspective) (Hardcover)
by Robert Weninger (Author)
