Scouser 06-26-2009 11:23 AM

Re: Pictionary

Re: Pictionary

Not sure to look for something with My precious or Mine all Mine now  As I think the last exlamation might be just in my imagination I'll go with the first one - but there is no other singer of a song with that title...

Let's try

Celine Dion - My precious one

Re: Pictionary

Thinking simplistically there are a few songs called The Ring. But I don't trust myself not to laugh posting that :cheesy:

As, you say the Band isn't correct yet, I assume one of the titles SF said is correct, so I'll guess Depeche Mode, Precious.

Re: Pictionary

That's one I'm looking for!

My first attempt was a song from them as well.
Think it's still a shame I can't use it

I'll pm it to the ones that want to see.

angelstar 06-26-2009 11:55 AM

Re: Pictionary

I do wonder though, can't you use it? I mean as long as the drawing isn't too risky and the title of the song is within PGborders? Does it really matter it has 'adult' lyrics if we don't use them in the drawing/guessing?

I don't see it as being a problem either.

Re: Pictionary

Oh well...better safe then sorry.

Jimborama 06-26-2009 01:48 PM

Re: Pictionary

It's actually even simpler :)

Scouser 06-26-2009 06:15 PM

Scouser 06-28-2009 07:14 PM

Re: Pictionary

Well I've looked at songs/music called The Sting, (there are many) but I don't know where Gerorge Orwell fits in ! I'm probably barking up the wrong tree......

I did think of Stings "An Englishman in New York" but as your last one was by Sting I changed my mind:biggrin: also I don't think George Orwell ever lived in New York........

celli 06-28-2009 07:35 PM

Re: Pictionary

Why did you change your mind, you should never do that, I'm not as imaginative as you think :cheesy:
Englishman in NY is not the right title though...

Scouser 06-28-2009 07:54 PM

Re: Pictionary

The only song I can find associated with George Orwell, is "1984" by David Bowie is a retelling of George Orwell's 1984, or "Animal in Man" by Dead Prez from Let's Be Free is a retelling of George Orwell's Animal Farm...... and neither of them are Sting:lol:

celli 06-28-2009 07:55 PM

Re: Pictionary

Oooh but you are so close now, keep on that track and you'll get there....

Scouser 06-28-2009 08:14 PM

Re: Pictionary

Well I'm going to wing it here and say.....

I'll Be Missing You

Spoiler:

Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
And every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you

I reference to George Orwells "Big Brother

celli 06-28-2009 09:15 PM

Re: Pictionary

But surely the name of this song is ''I'll be watching you" ,that's what is says on my CD and look at the lyrics. And yes Big Brother is watching you.
Anyway, you're dead on Scouser....your turn again.

Re: Pictionary

Hey, that was a good clue, now that I know the answer - nice way to sneak up on it, celli! :)

Scouser 06-28-2009 10:56 PM

Re: Pictionary

Scouser 06-29-2009 05:47 AM

Re: Pictionary

Yes it is rbud, over to you............

rbud57 06-29-2009 09:55 AM

Re: Pictionary

Oh, yay, lucky I've heard of the Baby Einstein series!

Wondering why you'd have that DVD, Scouser - do you have kids?

Just curious. :)

And here's my easy song clue, shouldn't be hard to add the artist or artists once you have the answer.

angelstar 06-29-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Pictionary

I'm guessing While my guitar gently weeps, by the Beatles/George Harisson?

Scouser 06-29-2009 01:38 PM
