Re: Pictionary

Looks like one of those guys from the "Prison Break" TV show, but I don't watch it, so am not sure which one - and too lazy today to hunt for him!

Shame on me! But at least I have the excuse of having partied all weekend for what that's worth - I'm in reccovery mode.
;)

Re: Pictionary

You have all mentioned correct clues to the answer:nod:

Helanren 05-18-2009 10:47 PM

Re: Pictionary

 A search for "abbey" comes up with two possibilities (but very much outsiders, I'm afraid...):
- the 1902 movie The King and Queen Arriving at Westminster Abbey
- or its sequel, also from 1902 The King and Queen Leaving Westminster Abbey After the Crowning

Scouser 05-18-2009 10:57 PM

Re: Pictionary

The fact that its Abbey Rd has no reference......

I'll bet you that doing a google image search for Prison Break and coming up with a picture of Michael Scofield/Wentworth Miller takes less time than it took you writing that post: he's all over the place :rotfl:!

Not that either the names of the show or of the character/actor have made me find the movie yet...

itSFMe 05-18-2009 11:43 PM

Re: Pictionary

What about Miller's Crossing (1990)? I guess the girl would be Sienna Miller maybe? I can't really make out her face and I am bad at names :silly:

I think you are right :)! I don't really know who she is, but I found this picture searching for Sienna Miller, and that seems to be the same dress...
Spoiler:

Good find and nice pictionary again

:) Nice one Scouser. I have to admit though: I read the previous post to find the clues rather than finding them myself  :wall:

Here's another SONG.

Re: Pictionary

I actually thought I had used the left clue before, but I can not find it in this thread anymore... maybe in a riddle :doubt:

It's not an obvious one. Well, it is when you know the song of course  Try to go a bit deeper than the general words...

And Neija, it was nice to hear that song again :arms:

For an in-depth discussion on that problem, see here :).

Should we recognize the dog? Or is it just a generic one?

And just to try something:

Black Lab: Keep Myself Awake which apparently is also used as a soundtrack for Buffy The Vampire Slayer

edit: well, looks as if it's not a bad try...

itSFMe 05-19-2009 03:06 PM

Re: Pictionary

 :arms: Yes, it is right! :arms:

I really like the band "Black Lab". I really thought we had a discussion in here already about a drawn dog and whether it was a labrador or not :rotfl: I guess all that happened in my head ;)

Good find HelanRen :arms: Your turn :)

Yeah, I liked that song as well ;).

There is by the way one riddle where you talk about labradors, so maybe it wasn't just in your head....
Spoiler:
but I couldn't really check that, as I cannot even get past the first level

OK, here is another song. It's pretty straightforward (;)), so Jimbo, are you online?

Re: Pictionary

 That must be it HelanRen :) Thank you for being so thorough and putting my memory back together :arms:

Erm... right. I would say "something with horses" :rotfl: Some might be wild, but most are not...
Maybe the squares mean it is a calander  Thus horses all day, every day... :) No idea for a song yet though

Scouser 05-19-2009 05:08 PM

Re: Pictionary

Horses, calander ? Year of the Horse - Neil Young, but I only see maybe a month:doubt:

itSFMe 05-20-2009 02:36 PM

Re: Pictionary

Hmm... they seem all to be horses that like to go fast. Or that are competing... maybe wild horses does come to mind - both as in "not captured" as in "wanting to go go go go" :silly:
Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
I'm totally ignoring the 31 squares now though...

Scouser 05-20-2009 06:55 PM

Re: Pictionary

All the wild horses seem to be on one day (thats if it is a calander) and it would be Sunday if its the month of May. errm maybe not.

It's not any particular month, just one that didn't spill over into a 6th week ;)

Yep, that's the one ;)!I noticed it on the songlist of the same Buffy album that your black labrador was on, without realizing it was a Stones cover . But it seemed to be well enough known on its own to keep the pictionary I made up, with as Scouser mentioned all the wild horses on Sundays (and no particular day for any of the types of tamed horses)

Your turn next :jossun:

itSFMe 05-20-2009 09:06 PM

Re: Pictionary

 Well, I am glad you appreciate Buffy so much HelanRen  I still remember the look on my father's face when he figured out that I watched that show. He was honestly disgusted and disappointed with my mother for allowing me to watch it :lol9:

I take you would be me? Lets just go for it - the pictionary I have in mind is easy enough - shouldn't take too long :silly:

Re: Pictionary

 For a second there I thought we were going to play hangman :rotfl: I am not sure what to do with it as in a pictionary... maybe the title is a palindrome?

Is that by any chance Brian May? I am really bad in recognizing faces :doubt:

Something with stabbed or murder - but that does not really narrow it down to one movie either :lol9:

Scouser 05-22-2009 11:23 AM

Yep its definitely Brian May..... but thats about all I know:doubt:

I really thought it was Dustin Hoffman, that's why I guessed what I did, but if I look hard at him, I'm not sure any more.

Glad someone has an idea! ;)
