Establishment of Saidai-ji (西大寺) - a Buddhist temple in the city of Nara, Nara Prefecture, Japan. It is the main temple of the Shingon Ritsu sect of Buddhism. It is the counterpart to Tōdai-ji. Its name means "west great temple." (thanx WIKI)
