Re: The last word game As I worked in the corker room, I couldn't help but start tasting the champagne . And before I knew it I was the proud owner of three bottles. (Achilles Heel..I didn't know how to use corker in your context :lol9:) Hope that works  |
Re: The last word game Clee, a Corker is descriptive of something that is magnificent or beautiful in my part of the world. Anyway: My mum loves collecting blue bottles, I can't persuade her that she is off her head and should find a proper hobby like bowls or scrabble. |
Re: The last word game (Thanks Achilles Heel, learned something new ) As the scrabble game wore on it was evident Q words were his downfall. |
Re: The last word game You're welcome. One of the funniest books I've read was 'Adolf Hitler: My part in his downfall' by Spike Milligan. It's a sort of biography of his role in the 2nd world war and is very funny. Edit: It's just a pity it happened |
Re: The last word game Funny how humour can be made out of the most terrible of situations |
Re: The last word game Looking over the situations, I knew it was my duty to smile and pass that on to the next person I see! |
Re: The last word game If you see it does that mean it is real?? |
Re: The last word game Real was a reality in her own mind , no one understood this but her as she jumped in the Antarctic. |
Re: The last word game I wonder if living in the Antarctic would be exciting or boring. |
Re: The last word game I'd say with the right person nothing can be boring the only thing would be you better like white. |
