Apparently I'm not doing good on this one. Is it near England any where? On the English continent perhaps?

I can't find anything on fortresses built in 1186. Then again, I haven't really looked.

No, this is neither in Wales, nor in England, nor in UK at all:winky:. The fortress was built around 1186, it was earlier when people started to build it. I won't give more hints about this, because if I give you the words I intended to write yeasterday, you will easily find it in google :bonk:.

Can you give me some sort of a hint as to which part of Europe ..ie: north, east, west or south
