Blue sky and Green grass, the Sasquatch story

_____Our tale begins a while back, in a beautiful foreign country, on a day much like today actually... In a beautiful country cottage, a woman gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Now being the woman's first child, she had though long and hard about what to name the child. Her name could be Alexandra, for her stregth, or Featch, for the little devil that is inside, but it was decided to be Sasquatch, because of the gleaming green eyes. With that, normal life resumed. Until one day...

_______________Chapter 1

_____Sasquatch sighed in the summer heat, being mid July and having to work outside tending to the livestock was hard on a twelve year old. She put down the bail of hay that she was carrying and sat down on it, after almost 4 hours carrying around hay she deserved a break. Bg, her spry puppy, came running to her from the house; clearly excited to see that she was free to play with him now.

_____"Not now Bg, I still have work to do" Said Sasquatch, "Ill play with you later tonight when Im done with my chores."

_____And with that Sasquatch's break was over, she still had 25 bails of hay to collect; if only her dad trusted her with the truck, she would have finished this job hours ago and be relaxing now. The thought of just not moving the rest of the bails slowly crossed her mind now. She knew her mom would get mad, but it was her mother's fault that she couldn't use the truck so this could be her payback.

_____Sasquatch quickly shook the thought out of her head. She knew that she had to pick up some slack, everyone did, since her father died mysteriously. Her fathers death. Now something just wasn't right with that, Sasquatch just couldn't put her finger on it. The police said that he had slipped while working at his job as a butcher and a frozen slab of cow fell on him. Sasquatch believe that it was really the mafia who took out her dad, as a favor to the new butchery in town; which was run by the Don's son.

_____"Hurry up and get those bails inside" Yelled her mother, "It's going to start raining soon and we dont want you to get sick!"

_____Sasquatch carried two more bails over, before deciding to come inside and lay on the couch. The blue skys had turned gray. It made her sad when it rained, things always looked so nice when the skys were blue and the grass was green. Green like her eyes, that is what her mother always said. Her mother... Sasquatch had noticed that her mom had changed after her father died. At least she could make her mom happy still... Just smiling was enough to make her mom cheer up... So... Tired...

_______________Chapter 2

_____Waking up to Bg jumping on her was nothing new, she just wished that he wasn't so big. 6 years ago when he was a spry young puppy, she didn't mind as much; but now he was old and fat. She had changed too. At 18 years old, she was the envy of all the guys at her school. Life with her mom hadn't changed much over the years, Sasquatch still found herself doing a lot of chores to help out. She also had a job, working at the local supermarket, to help with the expenses. She didn't mind that at all, especally because of all the cute guys that came to the store. She thought that her life was going pretty well, but then one day...

_____It was 8:33a.m. and like every other day, Sasquach had overslept and now really needed to hurry in order to get to school by 9a.m. Her mom let her drive the truck, which she now despised. It was a bulky thing, that made horrible noises whenever someone looked at it funny; it got a lot of funny looks. But what made this day special was when she hit an old man who was crossing the street. Now it's not what it seems, he sort of well... Materialized in front of her car.

_____So hitting an old man is NOT something that she time for, but she decided that she needed to go and see if he was alright (Even though she was really late already) She got out of the car and ran over to the downed man and then things started to get weird.....
