Re: The word-chain game It looks like I need to make the next sentence again. The words are: Serpent, taste, exuberant, trick-or-treat, and trade-in. So, my sentence is: As I opened the door, all the kids yelled, "Trick-or-treat!" So since I was dressed as a serpent, I let out an exuberant hiss. The kids jumped so high, I thought they were going to run away with out the taste of my halloween treats. But they calmed down enough to hand me their trade-in of a great big scream in order to recieve their favorite halloween treat: chocolate! Next word: Jasper :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game rasping |
Re: The word-chain game gimmick |
Re: The word-chain game kicking |
Re: The word-chain game green |
Re: The word-chain game Okay, I guess I'll write another sentence... The words are: Jasper, rasping, gimmick, kicking, and green. So, here goes: "It was just a gimmick," he said in a rasping sort of voice. "I know," I replied, "but I'm just kicking myself for not realizing that a jasper is never green." Potted :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game digger |
Re: The word-chain game Radio :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game owl |
Re: The word-chain game lice |
Re: The word-chain game Potted, digger, radio, owl, lice... A potted plant watched the digger listen to his radio; the garden was silent save a tawny owl hooting gently and picking the lice out of his feathers..... ethereal |
Re: The word-chain game Livery :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game yodelling |
Re: The word-chain game Guru :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game ugly |
Re: The word-chain game Ok, here I go. The words are: ethereal, livery, yodeling, guru, and ugly. The ethereal beauty of the mountains was ruined when the guru heard this very loud yodeling. As he looked up, he saw a group of men in livery coming down the road behind a very ugly coach which must have carried someone important. The next word: Fusion :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game Noisy |
Re: The word-chain game Yonder :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game radical :elephant: |
Re: The word-chain game library |
Re: The word-chain game Well, that's actually 6 words but I'll go ahead and create a sentence or two. :winky: This mad scientist spent a lot of his free time in the library of his yacht. He was studying the noisy process of fusion and so didn't want to be disturbed. This radical new process may help solve all of the questions out in the great blue yonder! OK, now for the next chain: Militant |
Re: The word-chain game timeless |
Re: The word-chain game Stationary :jossun: |
Re: The word-chain game young |
Re: The word-chain game grins :jossun: Next up: A sentence with the 5 words! :winky: |
Re: The word-chain game Ok, well we were supposed to make a sentence after 5 words....so I guess I'll go ahead and make out one of the 7 instead! :winky: The words are: militant, timeless, stationary, young, grins, seaside, and elephant. The timeless quality of the militant village was very apparent. There were elephant decorations in the windows and young children playing by the seaside. And the stationary guards were looking bored in the setting sun. :jossun: Ok, so now I will start a new chain and hopefully after 5 words, someone will make a sentence! :winky: Peacock |
Re: The word-chain game kiss |
Re: The word-chain game still |
Re: The word-chain game love |
Re: The word-chain game earwax |
Re: The word-chain game Looks like it's my turn to make a sentence....so  Still waiting for an email containing a kiss from his one true love, he occupied himself by making sugary candles out of earwax and xylose |
Re: The word-chain game OK. The word-chain game is to make a sentence after 5 words. :) So thanks for making a sentence, Curly! But you did miss my last word. :frown: So I'll use that to start the next chain: Peacock |
Re: The word-chain game king as Curlybird got it wrong |
Re: The word-chain game Quote:
Grasshopper |
Re: The word-chain game rabbit |
Re: The word-chain game tree |
Re: The word-chain game Ok, here we go again. :) A sentence is supposed to be made after 5 words. We have 7 words again. The words are: Peacock, king, grashopper, rabbit, tree, elephantitus and seal. As they gathered around the tree, the peacock, the grasshopper, and the rabbit were discussing the elephantitus of the seal and decided that he must be the [/b]king[/b] of the sea. :jossun: The next chain will begin with: Physical |
Re: The word-chain game leech  |
Re: The word-chain game Hospital |
Re: The word-chain game Lace :jossun: Hint: One more word and then a sentence should be made. :winky: |
Re: The word-chain game extreme thought i should bring this thread back to life. now someone post a sentence |
