This is the right folder, but you need to type in a filename also, that you get from the letters and the extension.

After googling a bit , i come to the conclusion, that this is what it is --> just a tag. Don´t think it has something to do with the riddle :google:

Another thought - after printing both pics and staring at them ...

Perhaps the second pic is a template that you have to overlay onto the first one and certain letters will be seen through the marks that look like holes?

I don't have PSP here - but what i would try is overlaying one pic over the other and erasing the middles of the holes.

Can't get the one to print the same size as the other or i would poke holes in #2 and do it manually!

Good find Elric. (God must have awesome eyesight, cause no way I could read "xxx" in there and I've just about exhaused Corel's image correction abilities, sigh) On second thoguht, I guess I can see how a clue could point to it so more power to ya E.

So...earlier today me and sylvan were bumpin' thoughts around. Those who haven't yet formed their own opinion about the image cypher may want to skip this "spoil" for now as to maybe not be swayed one way or the other.

Just wanted to add a few more apparant false trails that i went off on after Mookie and i seem to have exhaused the natural disaster line of thought.

I tried ignoring the hurricane connection and focussed on famous Ritas. Tried everything i could come up with - hayworth, moreno, saint rita, rita dove (poet laureate) and many many others.

Went off on a wizard of oz tangent too - and came up blank on that as well.

back to storms - or else we've totally misinterpretted the 2nd pic.

tried looking at that afresh too and for the life of me - i cannot come up with an alternate use for that pic. the splotches don't seem to indicate any specific letters other than the ones we already have - and they don't seem to form letters or their own.

Hi all

Yeah I know I said I wouldn't be posting anymore, and hey, I really wasn't going to.
It was killing me seeing you all have fun (in essence) playing the GT2 levels and not being able to see them or join in..

But..
I had one last crack at trying to get GT2 to load up and I think it does work here, just that it takes about an hour to load a single level.
Could someone pm me the url for level 10 and the level 9 password please, I just might be able to join in after all.

btw.. I miss you guys heaps and heaps.

Anyway Ive looked at level10 and I can see a lot of different things, but ... well what the hell... has gtw2 really been this difficult so far? i mean thats pretty tough stuff.

Welcome Back Griffin! I'm very glad to see another seasoned veteran here to help figure this beast out!

A couple of things - as Maxt said - we've found some stuff already and are beginning to think that the actual content of the document doesn't have much to do with the answer - except maybe the words HAND OF GOD.

The title page of Minerva B does have an interesting inscription though

"MENTE. VIDEBOR"-"by the mind I shall be seen"

What we hae been concentrating on is figuring out the .jpg that can be found by finding all of the altered letters.

which - btw - has nothing to do with that blank page website of the same name.

It jumped out at me last night what the file name means. Look at the letters - now look at the page name HAND OF GOD. Get it now? I can't believe i didn't catch that one sooner!

Mookie and i brainstormed for a while yesterday and came up with Great Rita as the only message that we could find when overlaying one pic on the other. We've been trying to find the connection from that.

Famous Ritas has been a dud. And we've been beating our heads against the wall trying to find a password from Rita/Katrina etc since that does seem to have a Hand of God connection.

My mind is stuck on a shakespeare connection (Tempest - Minerva shaking her spear - peacham's involvement with WS) Or possibly Bermuda (Tempest was based on the founding of Bermuda as the result of a hurricane causing a shipwreck in 1609)

Of course - we could all be off on the wrong track too ...

Here's a project for you matx :)

Mookie pointed out that the layout of pic2 looks somewhat like a crossword puzzle.

It also looks like many of the discernable letters line up with the first pic - although not the spacing. Like on the top line of pic 2 - there are letters that could be and sort of line up with dread sovereign and those last 3 letters that are seperate.

There are a lot of letters that seem to say "of" and "God" all over it.

Can you make any sense out of it? Maybe try to line up the text to conform to the 2nds pic?

Going with that theme for a bit. If you look at top-right corner of the piggy image, theres a mark rather unlike anything else. It kinda looks like an arrow but looks like a part of a sketch/drawing. I have been trying to match it up for some time now to something of - course, no va. If I line it up precisely onto the bottom line of the emblem picture, that's when G.R. (or thereabout)shows up. I tried scanning other images in M.B. and so far from eyeballing came out empty.

Looks kinda like an eye on my printout. And there's something that looks like a tooth near the bottom left also.

Since you're printing out Sylvan. Keep in mind if you don't realize, that the piggy image is in 72 dpi and M.B. image is in 150 dpi. So if you print them out (unless pixel resolution is used) they will print out in a different that screen display ratio size.

Yeah - i know :(

I was hoping to be able to poke holes in the paper - but i cannot make them the same size without any picture editing software.

All i can do is screen dump - but it makes a nice clear image on the piggy pic.

A thought on the eye - is there a source page for that one? I couldn't get one.

I checked the source code but i'm not really sure what you guys did to find another pic.

There are 7 missing or altered or added letters throughout the page - plus the letters jpg in the bottom left corner (Elric gets credit for deciphering this part)

Find all of the anolmalies (compare the GT one to the original)



If you line them up in order of their appearance on the page - and add .jpg - you have the file name.

Another approach. If the hilighted is G.R. and the piggy file looks like a crossword puzzle (albeit a messy one), I though maybe crossing the words G & R would lead somewhere.
