I think it has something to do with the balance of the two paragraphs, look at the words in each that don't fit. Maybe you can match them up with each other or something.

*Edit: balance because the title is equilbrium

The first thing, that came to my mind was, that in the 2nd part, many latin words were used. Maybe this could help.
