Re: what's my number? Wow! How did you get to this, sharpy? But of course those are palaces, the largess in the world... Over to you, Helanren :jossun: |

Re: what's my number? Are the numbers money? size? units? |
Re: what's my number? Not money, not size, depends on what you mean by 'units' (as everything you count is counted in some unit or other, except when you're doing pure math ) |
Re: what's my number? Fine! Let's tackle the letters: first letters of persons? Occupations? Places? |
Re: what's my number? 1 Attachment(s) |
Re: what's my number? Countries (more likely) Population? |
Re: what's my number? Countries - hmmm... yes Population:  |
Re: what's my number? Please clear that for me: the letters on the X axis are NOT the countries initials...rather they denote ranking....how else can you explain your change? |
Re: what's my number? Compare version 1 and version 2, and you'll understand why I said hmmm to both 'places' and 'countries' ;) |
Re: what's my number? You never said hmm... to "places". As a matter of fact you completely dismissed it. Does UA = USA; GB = Great Britain; C = Canada, F = France ? :doubt: |
Re: what's my number? Yep, USA/American, Great Britain/British, C = Canada/Canadian, F = France/French are the letters in version 1/version 2  |
Re: what's my number? You've lost me a bit (with the need for an updated version) Do the numbers represent people? War? |
Re: what's my number? Y Axis - number of people? LOL Link! I am always lost when Helanren is around...he is too good at hiding... |

Re: what's my number? Number of soldiers killed in a war? (Maybe WWII?) |
Re: what's my number? WW II soldiers :nodder:, killed  - well, not all of them.... |
Re: what's my number? POW's? Since yesterday I am trying to find a site with numbers concerning WWII. Strangely, I can't... |
Re: what's my number? |
Re: what's my number? MIA's? Again, I have difficulty getting numbers...I did find that the USA had over 70000 MIA in WWII... BTW: I have looked closely at your original posting and can see no differences except for the letters. |
Re: what's my number? IA yep, M no  - and look again at the whole of the post.... |
Re: what's my number? It's a broken bar graph. Wounded soldiers? |
Re: what's my number? Nope, the 'broken' representation is just to get everything into view, the numbers have nothing to do with wounds. The 'clue' is somewhere else. |
Re: what's my number? I don't see anything in the chart. These soldiers were "in action" you say. Is this a specific battle? |

Re: what's my number? I "love" it when Helanren is toying with us... Above the chart you said: "Next: a quick and easy one (as I basically forgot about wmn ):" Is your hint there? |
Re: what's my number? Not really, I just had to quickly make one that day ;) |
Re: what's my number? 900 French soldiers took part in the Normandy invasion...Am I getting warmer? EDIT: I finally got some numbers: 'On D-Day, the Allies landed around 156,000 troops in Normandy. The American forces landed numbered 73,000: 23,250 on Utah Beach, 34,250 on Omaha Beach, and 15,500 airborne troops. In the British and Canadian sector, 83,115 troops were landed (61,715 of them British): 24,970 on Gold Beach, 21,400 on Juno Beach, 28,845 on Sword Beach, and 7900 airborne troops.' |
Re: what's my number? That's close enough :) Spoiler: It was the total number of allied troops involved on D-Day itself, or at least the best estimates I could find (for the French e.g. I found 209 ;)) over to pearla :jossun: |
Re: what's my number? I am still laughing....In a million years I would not have thought that this was your clue...especially since it was generated by the program and not entered specifically by you...I am also laughing because you said that was an "easy" one... As to the number of French troop: here the number mentioned is 900  |
Re: what's my number? It wasn't exactly meant as a clue at the time :). But as you know, I like 'topical' posts, and I figured if you read "American, British, Canadian" on D-Day, bells would start ringing - hence the 'easy' wmn. But of course, the further we got away from the date, the less that would be true, so I used the 'edited by' as a reminder). Spoiler: |

Re: what's my number? Interesting range of numbers.... are they percentages (with FM going above 100, because 'non-members' of the group also take part)? Spoiler: |
Re: what's my number? These are not percentages. Look at the picture name... |
Re: what's my number? |
Re: what's my number? Hey genius! How did I give it away...I didn't even say it is money...It's nice to have an easy one after Hel's "easy" one...:silly: You are up Mr. Link! :jossun: Edit: Here is Forbes list |
Re: what's my number? How come they never asked me to box for 72 minutes? I probably could even have given them something like 40, 50 games, instead of a measly 2, as well  |
Re: what's my number? Be honest, Helanren: you wouldn't have survived even for 72 seconds... |
