Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

It's a catapult on skis This looks like a heavily over engineered gadget that performs a simple task. But I have no idea what that may be. Does the paint brush function as a paint brush? To use this, do you have to attach anything to it?
Seems like there's numbers on the wheel in the middle. Given the top right thing is tubular, it might be a tool to measure something - distances? An astronomic-geodetic gadget?
A weapon of infinite doom to shoot down the Klingons at the orbit... Or wooden very early version of a Desert Eagle? I do like Bolaf's theory but I like to say also theorem that this is built by the chipmunks for taking over the whitehouse from future enviromental causes?
