Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Good heavens....my poor parents are writhing in their graves. I'm sure they had no idea when they gave me those pieces some 25 years ago. Still, I'm keeping my "purloined property".
BJ we also have a piece of petrified wood on our bookcase, bought of a Native American at Canyon the Chelly the day before we got to Petrified Forest. The Parkranger asked us if we had any wood with us and we told her we did, she made a note of it on our ticket and that was it.
