The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

I've googled "ruins" followed by every "...istan" country in Central Asia, but it'll be difficult to find without knowing what kind of ruins they are... Is it an isolated building or is it part of a whole city?
....maybe a city in an oasis in the desert? ... I've just thought of that and it could open new searching possibilities, a trade point, or a well-known commercial place...

This is what happens to me a lot of times....and I hate it....
I Google the words...in this case ''crane lifting a tree to the top of an apartment building'' and I get the right picture, BUT when I click the picture to ''show page'' there is a lot of blah blah blah and the picture is nowhere in sight....why is that?
Anyway, after long search I think it has to do with the Bosco Verticale skyscraper in Milan.

I'm not really sure what happened there, except that my pic is shown on the page you get from following a link inside the article that you found through the pic (go to the article "A Vertical Forest Is Growing in the Middle of One of Europe’s Dirtiest Cities" and click on the "a few unique engineering challenges" link to get this)
So for some reason, google has decided in this case that that pic should also be "linked" to the vertical forest article.
Usually though, the reason is that google has found the picture earlier, and stored a cached copy of it. If it was on a page with a link like "www.newspaper/frontpage" then by the time you click that link, the frontpage has changed and you no longer see the same photos (but if the link that google found it under was "www.newspaper/december 5/article about trees on balconies" you could probably still see the original, unless the newspaper deletes old pages after a few weeks or so )
When this happens with a "standard", not an image search, you can often get the old, cached copy of the page (showing what it looked like when it was found) by clicking on the green triangle:

right click on "visit page" and select "copy shortcut":
then paste it into a new tab or window and type cache: in front of the link; that should give you google's cached copy again.

Celli, that happens to me too, and it's infuriating! I think sometimes it's because it's a blog site and the picture is from a very old posting that you have to go to the archives to see. But whatever, it's maddening. Nice find, by the way!
