Attachment 72689 So now we need to decide how many eyes together make up 1 code group  |
Re: Cryptomania I think Bolaf already made the groups... Well, I know he did it. (Unless you mean a different thing.) There are a couple of faint hints in the play... but I also added a lot of stupid chit-chat to confuse you  And one of them is only understandable for Spanish speakers  .... :devil_2: [edit] And you got the right 8 positions... but remember, faces have two eyes :nodder: |
Re: Cryptomania Left eye comes up in 5, right eye in 6 different positions, so that's 30 possibilities per head -> one head, one letter? |
Re: Cryptomania One head=one letter, perfect! |
Re: Cryptomania No direct substitution though, it seems..... replacing eyes by numbers to get a better 'view' and using Bolaf's sequence (one frame = one line) we get Spoiler: |
Re: Cryptomania Sequences of 52-52-52.... no, not really. Let's go back to the animated GIF now. When you look at it what you see is one head = one word. That is: six "eye-moving" heads = six words. each "still-eyed" head = one of the letters of that word [edit] And forget the numbers... remember I can't count  |
Re: Cryptomania The numbers were just to make it easier to see in what way the heads/eyes were the same or not ;) So the solution is 52-74 52-54-65-14 52-63 74-81-76-68 73-54-68-53-63-65-61-52 61-62-68-64 with each two digit number a different letter? Or if you wish : ab acde af bghi jcikfdla lmin |
Re: Cryptomania 1 Attachment(s) Attachment 72693 And, by the way, while checking your numbers (once I understood they were related to the positions) I've discovered the output I got has an added difficulty I wasn't aware of... it seems the GIFMaker tool also wanted to participate here :rotfl: |
Re: Cryptomania 1 Attachment(s) ACT FOUR (Right after Act 6, and to be followed by Act 2) [Bruja, clinging to an old broom, hops in from the left and stops at a strange pile that lies in the middle of the stage.] Bruja (worried): Deus? Deus ex machina: ... Bruja: Are you ok? Deus ex machina (whispering): Waiting... for... Godot... Coryphaeus (singing): Where's Godot - when you need him? ACT TWO (Right after Act 4, and to be the final Act) [Bolaf, having been offline for 2 days, appears on the stage where Deus ex machina has recovered from its fall.] Bolaf (cheerfully): Greetings, good Sir. Deus ex machina (grumpily): Shut up and entertain me! Bolaf: Attachment 72708 Deus ex machina: Faster, faster! More balls! Bolaf (whining): I can't. My arms hurt. Frankly, I hate this. Deus ex machina: It's Nhelma's fault! Coryphaeus (singing): Nhelma's fault, Nhelma's fault! |
Re: Cryptomania  Well, the animated encryption was hel's fault, of course, as the encrypted text explains... And the fact that his name changes to Nhelma is the website's fault, so I'm totally innocent of your sufferings :hypocrite You can stop moving your arms up and down, Bolaf :nodder: We're ready for your next machiavelic idea. Spoiler: Over to Bolaf! :jossun: |
