Re: Cryptomania 2 Attachment(s) Oh yes. I know so well what you mean. That moment when you log in joyfully in the morning... Spoiler: ... and suddenly you must realize that last night those crypto bastards have shamelessly exploited the very idea you've been working out for days... Spoiler: |
Re: Cryptomania Don't laugh at me, Bolaf :frown: I thought I had a clever idea for a change... and I was too stupid to make it into a good cryptogram. Then hel and you made yours and... well, do you have a couple of spare neurons? By the way, I have much longer hair, but that woman could easily be me :nodder: *off to cry a bit more and try to solve the current one* |
Re: Cryptomania Hi Bruja (defintiely need your help with this one) Tried to decode the XOR last night and got this: 75 105 91 111 97 100 102 94 In ASCII: Ki[oadf^ (I must have done something wrong) |
Re: Cryptomania I translated both full strings into ASCII, did it a bit quickly (my bf has just arrived, so I'll be afk right now), my results for the strings are: 66 100 49 75 97 53 98 52 09 05 66 59 00 71 13 66 I might have made a lot of mistakes, but... maybe it helps |
Re: Cryptomania If i convert the hex into decimal then XORing: 75 105 115 134 97 124 108 118 In ASCII I get: Kisåa|lv |
Re: Cryptomania What you've done is a simple addition. That's not XOR. |
Re: Cryptomania *searches for program* :( |
Re: Cryptomania A quick google gave me this. |
Re: Cryptomania Thank you YouTube! Kasparov (And to think I'll have a chance of using VB in college ;) ) Reminds me of binary addition (just without the carry overs) |
Re: Cryptomania Spoiler: ... binary addition ... without the carry overs ... Yes, the result is very similar. :arms: And Kasparov is our badass! Your move, Link :jossun: |
