I would have said strawberry, as gooseberry, blueberry, huckleberry and cranberry (plus grapes) are berries in both common parlance and the botanical sense of the word while strawberry (and raspberry) are not, botanically speaking :)

But basically that was Zarah’s second answer as well:
The botanical berry is defined in Wikipedia as “a fruit in which the entire ovary wall ripens into an edible pericarp. The flowers of these plants have a superior ovary and they have one or more carpels within a thin covering and very fleshy interiors. The seeds are embedded in the common flesh of the ovary”, so the strawberry with seeds on the outside is not…
