A Tribute to Forgotten Games: #1
Game: Braindead 13

For our first installment of old forgotten games, I've decided to post about a game called Braindead 13. This game came out back in October of 1995. It was created by Don Bluth. He is also known for his great games by the names of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, both of which I spent many of quarters on in the arcades. His works also include movies such as:
The Secret of NIMH (A personal favorite)
An American Tail
All Dogs Go to Heaven
The Land Before Time
Anastasia
Titan A.E.
His animation is amazing and when playing his games, they are exactly the same. He creates movies that are playable and include scripted events that you must correctly choose, otherwise you die. The basic controls are so easy. You have to either hit up, down, left, right or the action button. The screen lights up in specific spots to give you an idea of where to move the character or when to hit the action button.
This game pits you up against the evil Dr. Nero Neurosis and you're just a repair man that accidentally got caught up in his evil plans. All the while, you must fight his warped and failed creations until you finally defeat him. My favorite character in the game is of course Fritz, he's the guy in the pic. He's just too funny and is a strange little goblin like henchman that is bent on your destruction.
Anyways. That's the first of many. Hope you've enjoyed it and maybe even remember that silly game. Until next time!
