Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Continuum Hey, has anyone tried this one? CONTINUUM
I arrived from the source of the sun
into this new, golden morning.
I stand on the morning beach.
Pressing my feet into the fine sand.
Into my hands, my feet, my heart
My eyes, my ears and my thoughts
streams live new and powerful
when in the night I drunk from the source.
Give, that I do right,
Give, that I do with love
With this hands and feet
And offer my strength to others.
..finnish. A very special, autistic young man gave me this poem as a birthday present. I would like to leave the original here. It means a lot to me.

I should write to the Prince...

In Finland, when something's not right, you can write to the president. As I live in Wales, why not write to its Prince?
I am so trustful that I really believed our water supplier will in the end send a bill that is correct. But - no! Just the old one were we should have wasted 1,2 cubic metre every day. This morning I wrote a long letter
To whom it may concern.
Yesterday I got a letter from Severn Trent and I thought it is the answer to my leakage allowance enquiry. But no word about that enquiry, only another bill.
So I start the complaint procedure now. As I spent already a lot time on the phone with more or less helpful customer service advisor I skip the first stage of the procedure.
The facts:
we, two adults most time of the week at work, moved into this house in March 2007.
Just before Christmas I got the first bill:
03 March to 28 September 2007, £ 299.11 for a daily average of 1.21 cubic metres.
I called immediately and the advisor agreed that there must be something wrong. He said somebody will call me and then we make a new meter reading together. I didn't get a call but in the beginning of February (I hope to remember the time right, as I still trusted that the problem will be solved I didn't keep so much record about it) an inspector turned up. No call before as agreed, I wasn't at home. The inspector told my husband that he doesn't know which of the meters is ours.
28th of February came the next bill:
£ 487.22 this time.
After I recovered from reading that I called the customer service. Christina told me "we know that is wrong, just ignore it" and that on the 3rd of March will be a new reading.
17th of April: unpaid water services bills over £ 188.11 and £ 299.11 what makes a total of £ 487.22, just the amount Christina told me is wrong and I should ignore.
3rd of April: A letter that I haven't respond to your previous correspondence. As I never got a letter about making an appointment with your Water Field Planning office before I couldn't respond to it. Of Course!
I called and got an appointment for the 6th of May.
That was the day your Field representative actually found out which meter is ours - after he switched off the water supply for the neighbours. Beside he found out that there must be a leak.
Until this point I was sure the bills are just wrong because of the meter mix match.
Again another representative came and didn't meet me as I was at work. He found the leak, we made an appointment, also the landlord was there.
And I got another bill: <red this time to remind me to pay the amount of £ 487.22. I called again and this time I had two very unfriendly advisor that told me that I have to pay it now although I told them that the leak is due to be repaired and I will fill in a leak allowance form after that.
The leak was repaired, I got the allowance form without asking again for it (!) filled it in as good as I could. Ah jaa, the representative in the beginning of May told me somebody will come and help me with it. The truth: I called the customer service as I didn't know the exact date when it was repaired and also no meter reading of that day, both required.
CSA gave me another number to call. To be short: I called there and they told me I have to call CSA...
Finally I got at least the date, but no reading.
I sent the form on the 10th of June back but instead of an answer to it I just got a bill:
£ 299.11 for the time 03. March to 28. September 2007, the bill I haven't agreed in the first place and your customer service advisor agreed before Christmas that something must be wrong. And a little reduced - based on my reading I suppose - for the next bill of £ 134.21. That makes it together £ 433.32 for two people for 15 month and one week.
Until I got the new bill yesterday I trusted that Severn Trent will provide me with a proper bill in the end after everything else is cleared. This means the right meter and the fixed leak.
I haven't known or thought about that there might be a leakage before the beginning of May. And as it showed (as far as I understood when my landlord talked to your representative) the leak was on an old supply for a van that was kept in the garden before I have even lived in this country. How should I know about it?
I hope to come to an agreement on the basic of the average for 2 people per year what should be about £ 200/year that the relationship with our water provider is finally free of all this queries.
Kind regards
as stage 2 of their complaints procedure. Stage 1, calling the customer service, proved itself already as totally useless in the last 6 month. Stage 3 will be to contact the Consumer Council for Water Central. I am really frustrated!
What I need the most is a BIG and a lot of crossed toes and good wishes that finally, finally we can live in peace in this paradise.
Those darn utility companies, they are always hard to deal with. We are going a few rounds with the gas & electric co. here, too - still sorting out a mixup.
