I know, I'm rarely on here to chat with people. I still feel as though I'm a newbie though. It's like everyone knows everybody, but no one wants to get to know me. Then they say they do, but they 'forget' it and go about their own buisness. I guess I'm just being selfish, cause I see people making stuff for others and putting others in their sig or profile. I feel so left out. I'm not a computor genius, so I can't make anything for anyone, I don't even know how to make my profile look any better. I guess I have to give to recieve, but I just can't give. I don't want my computer to crash again, so I don't like messing around with things I don't understand.

I know how you feel, darlin', but don't fret. I'm a lot like you; I don't like to mess around with things I don't completely understand either.
However, just let me tell you that in a site this size it's easy to get lost in the shuffle. It all depends on where you hang out. Some forums are not as social as others. If you're more of a gamer than, I find, there isn't much social interaction. On the other hand, if you spend time in the Chat area than that's where you can really get to know people.
I hate to hear that you feel so alone. No one should feel that way so c'mon, luv. Expand your horizons and walk about. There's a vast world out here in Nordinho to explore. I'll definitely help you, if I can.

There are a lot of nice people here who don't forget you after a while
Stop by the pub for a chat for example or drop by the magazine for a discussion.
Or just post in someones profile
I hope you feel more included soon.
ps: I cannot make anything for anyone either but three lovely people helped out with my avatar/profile You can always give them a gift. I know exactly how you feel. I'm new here, and for me it's also hard to come in contact with other people, because everyone seems to know each other. But give it a try, go in the pub and just talk to the people.
And if you need help with your profile, just ask me, I will help you, even tough my knowledge with computer stuff isn't very popular. And hey, you can visit my guestbook if you like, it's still very empty!

As you can see, many of us have felt like that at one time or another... I'm like you, not sure how to make "stuff" and such. But you don't have to. Nordinho offers things like Rep and gifts that you could use instead, it's really easy (just check out the FAQ).
As for fitting in, for a long time I felt like that so I didn't get on as much. Something I can tell you though (which I'm sure can feel like "better said than done") is just get into the forums, say "hi'' to everyone and just jump into the conversation. No one will mind, trust me. Don't feel like you are butting into someone else's conversation. If people have things to talk about that they want no on else to see, that is what pagers and private messages are for. So just jump into the conversation and I think you'll find you'll feel a bit better. Hope to see you around!

I am the jackass that starts singing crap like "I am the very model of a modern major general I've information ani...." You get the idea.
That all probably doesn't help much, but it's my philosophy and it works most of the time. Most people like clowns.
Like K'Lyn said, some forums are better than others. Try playing some of the new adventure games, ask questions and give help when you can. Lots of interaction there. As an added bonus, you can get horribly, horribly frustrated with some of those games, too!

I can understand what you are feeling, I feelt it like that when i first started in here
I am not that good to writhe English and i was scared that people should not understand what i meant, but those people in here are so nice and understanding so i have really had no problem with that at all

Today i love being in the pub talking with all the kinds of people that are coming in for a chat Learning something new almost everyday, and are having very much fun. I hope that you will try it out some day, and maybe i will be there and can talke with you

I felt the same way when I first joint Nord but settled down alright after I found my rhythm. I find that Pub and the forum games subforum are a great way to meet and interact with other members. The riddles subforum is good for puzzle-solving camaraderie
Leaving GB entries is another great way to 'give' messages and communicate.
Like what others had said there is a request thread for avatars and a tutorial for tweaking your profile and asking CSS questions. Just take a deep breath and jump in with both feet
