Empathy

I swear, I must have some weird powers or something. Or I just really care about people. Anyways, the other day I'm taking a walk and I come across this poor man. He's sobbing. i ask him if he's ok (and smack myself on the head for even having to ask) and of course, he shakes his head. I ask him if I can do anything for him, again, he shakes his head. I felt sooo helpless. And he just keeps crying. Finaly, I take a small paper star out of my pocket and give it to him. I just wanted to let him know that there was still some hope. I cared. He thanked me, and kept crying. I ran home, and cried as well. I know, it's sad, but I had to write it down. The poor man.

    That's really sweet Sadie! I never knew people like you existed! Even though that man carried on crying I bet he felt some warmth in his heart for what you did
