I really haven't posted in a while guys. :( I know, I wanted to. But seriously the start of year has been insane so far. Between getting ready for the new house as well as my research, it's almost driving me insane. Not to mention the social calander. Seriously These few weeks is going to be WAY full on. Last weekend we had a wedding for one of my closest friends, as well as my fiance's friend's 40th. Next weekend we have another wedding, week after that we have yet another wedding (I know...), then have a post wedding party the week after that, and then we'll move in to our new place. Which means we don't do really have all that much time to look for things we need for our place. Friends and family has been nice though, so far we got given so much 2nd hand appliances to start us with it's fantastic. We just got a microwave too! Yay!

Besides furnitures and applicances, there are so mant little things about moving too. Things like insurances and utilities... all the way down to picking what internet company we're going with. Let's be honest, with two geeks in the house, we can't last long without boardband.

Research wise it's still driving me nuts too. I JUST finished one of the maths modelling... Not particularly fancy but it's working pretty damned well so far, and I'm happy about that. Meeting with company again tomorrow to show them what I've done and see how much more I need for the thesis. Wish me luck.

So that's about sums up my life recently. Still pretty insane. We've decided not to do any major renovation anytime soon though, just to settle in first and get a feel of what we want and need. Plus we're thinking instead of doing a usual registry for our wedding, we might ask for contributions towards the renovations. Since we'll probably have most stuff we need around the house by then anyway, it only make sense.

Right, think I need to take a small break. Pretty happy with what I've done today. Think I deserves to bum around Borders tonight. :D
