Questioning
Statues at Sea
He hi
,
Last weekend I pursued a digital camera
I wanted to practise with it this week, but of course I forgot to charge the battery and it ran out within 10 minutes - safe to say I didn't get much practise
So this Saturday I went to the beach, and these are the resulting pictures (watch out, they're huge!) :
They're a bit dark, but I'm not sure whether that is the camera or the fact that it was moving towards sunset.
Not too clear either
The statues are on the stairs near the boulevard. I think they're cute
They belong to a museum, representing fairytales. Did you recognise them? Here's a list and a wiki page with better pictures
.
And spring was obviously in the air: you see the workmen setting up the beach restaurants - getting ready for the summer crowds
Ow, and that lighthouse is the one in front of Madurodam. I planned to make pictures of the entrance as well, but I thought the battery had flattened out
I had made a video
But apparently, it only showed "red" right after the video was taken, in the train back home the battery showed to be 2/3 full again
The video I took takes ages to upload on youtube... I will post it when I figure out how to get it here
So, it's safe to say I've got much to learn about this camera
I hope everybody had a good weekend and is ready for a whole new week. Take care
Edit I've got a link, no footage yet... Might turn up in a few hours
If you see something else than an error message, please tell me
Edit2 For AngelStar: Can't really see it's been dyed red... more some kind of orange. I don't know, it looks different every day
Mostly it is just a bit brownish

And ain't it weird how the background is all unclear
And I think I should cleanse the lens, already
