Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Today I prepare for tonight's battle.
I gather the weapons and torches.
We will fight dragons and ghosts,
and I will protect them from lurking ghouls.
As they gather their bounty,
I will close my eyes,
smell the crisp air as it enters my lungs,
hear the leaves crunch under their feet,
and feel the chilled wind in my hair.
Truly bewitched on this night, a child again,
with chocolate on my breath.
For a moment I can hear my friends call my name.
I can feel my father's hand in mine.
In a flash, brought back, by the sound of their call,
