Questioning
A crazy start of the day
Today started off a bit weird.
Where shall I start.
Last night, or early this morning - it was for the first time in years that my mom told me to go to bed
It was 1:30 in the night/morning and I should get up at 4:15 again, so I guess she was kind of right.
But my sister and me where just talking at the kitchen table and forgetting all about time.
Anyhow, we talked some more (not too long) and then my sis went upstairs (she could sleep until 10:00 btw) so I got bored and also got ready to sleep.
Mom woke me up at 4:15
Yes, I've got the most wonderful mamma in the whole wide world
She gets out off bed that early for me, just to bring me to the train so I can stay overnight and still go to my early class. She has to drive me to the station some miles from our home, for the train does not stop at our station this early.
Any how, I was in time for that train and I had not forgotten the keys to my room this time
. The train was not that full, but not empty either. I'm always surprised at the amount of people that travel to their jobs that early, respect.
Any how, everything went all right - I listened some music, read some free newspapers and doozed a bit. But then I had to switch trains for the last 15min and this was real rush hour! Do you know the feeling? Like a can of sardines
I had to stand, no problem for a young and healthy girl like me you'd say
.
But those last 2 minutes.
Do you know that feeling you get in your head when you know you are gonna faint if you don't sit down soon or get some fresh air - preferably both
Well, I got that. I did not want to sit down, because then I was totally inbetween those people and when I stood - well, I'm not tall and there were all guys around me but it is still a better feeling to look at peoples chin then at their legs or the floor. So I just hoped for the station to be there and for me to be able to get out in time. But
, of course that didn't happen. So I went down, first just before the doors opened and then again when I was two steps out.
Of course people were helping all around, they always do. But I was so mad - I hate it when I can not controll myself
Any how, it all lasted perhaps 2 or 3 minutes and as soon as I got fresh air I was quite OK again.
I didn't even have to sit down to catch my breath again.
One of my flipflops got lost though - it is still lying on the railway track I think. A woman told me it was down there under the train, no need to pick it up. Oops
So I went home barefeet (it is only a 500m walk or something
), switched my bags and straight to university.
And guess what?
They had cancelled the early classes
Now my mother has been out of her bed that early for nothing!
And don't think that I have a habit of fainting; I had travelled to my mom and dad on friday in such an over filled coupe for 45 min and then I did not really enjoyed it but it didn't make me light in the head... I don't know what caused it, for that night I hadn't slept more than 4 hours either.
I always get a bit mad at myself when trains are packed with passengers like that, (standing in the gangways and such) it makes me think about the jews and how there were much more of them in one cabin and how I really shouldn't complain
A strange comparison to make, for I know where I'm going (at least I hope so
not at such a bad place that is for sure!).
Well, that was my story about today - further nothing crazy happened.
A good evening/night/morning/midday to you all
PS I should really get rid of this 'any how'
