Too lazy to find a title
I graduated on June 24th 2007 and the questions started from the moment I held my diploma.
What are you going to do?
Are you going to do masters?
Have you find a job?
Where are you going to work?
And many more..
I was questioned by everybody I came accross on street, on telephone, on internet, on my own home... (For example, my mom is talking to someone on the phone right now and I hear she says, "No, Aygün hasn't started to work yet". I hope this gives you an idea.) They are/were trying to be kind maybe but it is/was none of their business.
Thank God, we don't need much money so I wasn't forced to find a job quickly. And now, I am having rest (because the school was a pain for me and I am not ok mentally) and I am trying to make my mind about what I really want. And I believe I have some deficiencies to apply a job like a portfolio or self-confidence.
But it seems everybody is much more interested in working as an architect than me that they started to look for a job for me.. ?!?!?? (I didn't ask anyone.) Ok, I know Turkey is not the best place to work, and there are very unemployed people all over who can't find a job despite their qualifications. Maybe they think I am one of them. But I haven't started to look for a job yet. However, every unrelated people come to me with a solution!?
I wish they heard what I will say now. I know they won't but lemme say..
Ok, I know you all want to help me, I really appreciate but I DON'T WANT TO WORK YET AND WHEN I WANT I WILL TRY TO FIND ONE! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, STOP BUGGING ME!
PS: Today and the other two days are the Islamic holiday. So, Happy Eid ul-Fitr, to who celebrate it all over the world..
What a happy holiday for me, isn't it?
Edit: The people I am complaining about in this entry are the curious relatives and neighbours who I know in my real life. I never meant to break anyone's heart with my words, who are very kind to worry about me. I am sorry if I did..

Re: Too lazy to find a title
Has to be a bit of a bother, but they probably mean the best for you - too bad they don't ask you what the best will be. Maybe you should indeed tell them you don't want a job in a very decisive though not too agressive way, though you might have done that already
Sure you'll work it out - time will help. And a bit late, but gratulations on your graduation. Enjoy your holiday!Posted 10-12-2007 at 06:19 PM by itSFMe
