Daylight Savings Time - funny stories

Seeing as how this weekend we have to honour DST, I was thinking that everyone who participates in this bi-annual event must have some funny story to share. At least this weekend is the good one where we turn our clocks back an hour and gain an hour of sleep. I don't like the Spring Forward one where we lose an hour of sleep.
Anyhoo, I also liked it when the US didn't change it on us
but that's besides the point.
Anyways, a couple of years ago, I was out of town visiting a few friends. One friend and I decided to meet another one for breakfast. Friend #2 is notoriously late for things, but we were thinking it was ridiculous for him to be THAT late. Friend #1 and I were sitting in the breakfast diner and as I checked my cellphone, I realised the time was different. I remember asking,"Uh, is this the weekend we change our clocks?" (Friend #1 and I were at a party the previous night and didn't pay attention to the time when we got home.
Friend #1: Maybe. It's usually around this time of year. [looks at clock in diner] That clock is an hour early. I guess it IS this weekend. Friend #2 isn't late after all, we're just super early! Do you want to just sit here and wait or go for a walk to kill time?
Me: It looks windy and cold out. Let's just sit here.
[30 minutes later]
Me: I hope Friend #2 gets here soon. I'm hungry!
Friend #2 arrives.
F#2: I woke up early, but realised I had another hour of sleep so I went back to bed. It's hilarious that you two were waiting here all this time.
Us: Yeah, so funny. Order up. We're hungry.
And that's my funny story.

Funny indeed, though probably not at that moment
Here we have had daylight saving time for a week now
It is quite annoying that it is dark so early now... The police is way more strict on bicyclist to wear lights again
They always upgrade the "control" on that sort of things after the clock is set back
They're quite right that we need to wear lights, but it is so annoying to cycle into such a checkpoint all the time
