9th December: euthanasia

today i had to kill an ickle defenceless injured mouse. it was horrible. the cat caught it, and instead of killing it, he just left it by the door with a big hole in it's back. so i took a brick and dropped it on it. euthanasia is apparantly 'an easy mode of death'. not much was easy about that.
and on a more positive note: i've had a job, got another one for tomorrow and i've just applied for a load more. problem is, until i find a good permanent job, its just liking sticking plasters on the broken leg of my bank balance.

I hear you about the euthanasia thing. I had a goldfish I'd had for a couple of years that I had to put down... poor Fluffy.
