Wesley just left to go to a friend's house to talk him down from suicide. He got an IM from him saying "I have nothing to live for. I'm going to kill myself".
In my opinion, if you're going to kill yourself then you're not going to warn anyone about it, you're just going to do it. That way there's no one to try and stop you from following through.
But right now this guy is in an unstable state and there's no telling what he may do, to himself or to others. And Wesley is on his way over there.
It's things like that make me nervous.
*Edit - For clarification, I think it's good that Wesley is trying to help a friend. But at the same time, this friend has always been a loose cannon and has always had a bit of a temper.

well telling someone about it is often a good sign. It often means they don't really want to do it and are crying out for help. Maybe this is the first step towards professional help and a better life for him. I hope so. I hope it all goes well.Posted 12-13-2007 at 05:37 AM by ijsbeer
