yea finally I did it.
Want to paint the tailgate on my truck this week end. with a very very VERY special message to my state government

I get a letter from my mortgage company.
Not a good thing since it wasn't time for my monthly statement.

Apparently my payment has shot up from 617 a month to 725 a month!!!

I call to find out what's going on since recently it had dropped to 615 a month.

My mortgage insurance literally DOUBLED.
hazard insurance premium went from 700 a year to 1300 a year.
Since there wasn't enough to cover it in what I paid on my house last year.. they took it from the escrow, which sunk it 800 bucks negative. They added 120 a month to my payment to cover the extra insurance premium.

I called my insurer, who happens to be a state senator.
" Yes, Mr. Gordon can I help you?"

" I hope so. I want to find out what 's going on with my home insurance?

"Did you get a letter from us on it?"

"No but I got a letter from my mortgage company telling me they raised my payment again"

So he checked my info, and replies.. Wow! that is a steep increase! From $700.00 to $1300.00!"

Then he asks, "Is your home a stick built house or modular?"

"It's a damned double wide"

So he tells me he's going to check, since the Realtor originally listed it with them as a home owners policy, and we may can get a mobile homer owners policy instead which is cheaper.

He said he'd check several options for me.


Oh yea. almost forgot.. my package is in. The Fed Ex company sent me a post card yesterday asking me to call them with directions to my house, so I oblige them, call and tell the guy that answered what i was callign for " Yea. I found a postcard from you guys in my mailbox asking me for directions to my house?"

Honest to God here folks. the guy actually asks me this "Was it hanging on your doorknob?"

I thought to myself, " you can find my doorknob, but not my house?"

But anyways, back to my original story.. Since i learned it was the North Carolina state government that decided for some ungodly reason to jack up the mortgage premiums the way they did, thusly jacking up my house payment to something I can not afford anymore, I want to paint on my truck tail gate , "Thanks NC Government for nearly doubling my mortgage premium and raising my house payment!!"

and beside that? a donkey, with his rear facing out, his head peeking around his shoulder, grinning, with lip prints all over his behind :P
