this blog is indescribable...O~o
a truman in repose.. third study in sephia....
First off, in response to a comment left in one of my last posts, where i shared a large part of my child hood, a member telling me to "chill"

Enough of that.. on to today's inane ramblings of a southern fried greasy spoon chef.
so now I paid the seller for my mold when I got home.
Soon the little pup will be on its way to me. yay!
Floyd told me at lunch time he went to the gas station, and bought two ten dollar lottery tickets, and won $100 bucks.
I then mentioned to him about the 42 million dollar lottery jackpot today.
He laughed and told me he had bought two tickets for that same lottery, and if he won, He and I both would be set for life
I'm thinking "yea, its more like.. 'Ben who?' if he wins
"
Also, someone has lied to me, and I want to know who it was.
A month ago i applied to the local social service office for help with food stamps and to get my kids on medicaid , so I can take them to the dr if needed.
Yesterday I get a letter explaining that I make waaaaay too much money for them to help me.
i expected that answer, since they 've always told me that.
Today, i get another one of those' pre qualified for so much money' letters stating i can get up to 5000 dollars. no questions asked.
So I decide to call them about getting a couple grand, to pay ahead on the house for 2 months and use the remaining balance to get more molds for my shop.
The lady takes all my info, and after a few seconds she says " i'm sorry. We're unable to help you at this time. thank you for applying" CLICK
Hello? what about no questions asked? what about pre approved? yah. So the government says i make too much to help.
The financial institutions say I don't make enough to help.
Which one is lying to me?
You just wait. Wait till I get my extra $13.00 a week from the new stimulus plan.
I'm going to buy the government and the financial institutions. Then we'll see who's too poor, or rich to get help

I'm not sure what state you are in, but did you ask the Social Services office if there was anywhere else that you can check for health coverage for your kids? I know here in WA parents can get it for very little money and some of the plans will cover the child with out a premium. It's worth asking about it if you can get someone on the phone. Good Luck.Posted 04-23-2009 at 08:22 AM by Shpepper
