have you ever had that feeling you were being watched?

So today, around two o'clock (2:00 ) this after noon, i had to go with tony, one of the boss' sons to deliver three HUGE pots , and a HUGE gargoyle, sitting on a rock, with his wings spread out behind him. Think 1500 pounds huge here folks
we delivered the pots, sat them where the nice lady wished them to be, then rode another hour to drop off the gargoyle.
We ended up going a mile or so down a single lane dirt road to get to the house.
It happened to be on a farm the lady and her husband that bought the gargoyle owned.
As we found out where she wanted the
gargoyle placed, tony unhooked the fork lift from the bed of the truck, i tipped the statue over and he eased the forks underneath it.
I rode the forks while holding the statue from falling, Tony eased the lift underneath the trees beside a fence, and sat the forks down.
I then braced my shoulder against the gargoyls neck and pushed forward with my feet, tipping the critter back again.
tony then pulls the lift back slowly, and I let the critter ease down so as not to break the base of it with the immense weight.
i happen to get the feeling i'm being watched.
I turn around and look at the electric fence behind me.
and there i see fifty or so pairs of loverly brown eyes looking back at me
where the fence was barren before, there now stood a herd of cows, chewing their cud, and watching us place the statue
Being naturally curious (aka nosy ) animals, they all came over to see the new guy that moved in next door to their pasture
they stayed there the whole time we were there, and wandered away only after we left.
I found it funny as heck for some reason :P

I guess I'd want to know what's going on around me if I were them too though.
That's a great story though! Thanks for sharing, Ben.
