My partner and I were chasing a stolen car and the driver decided to jump/bail out as the car was moving (30mph) and we couldn't avoid him. But he wasn't killed or anything just kinda tore his leg almost completely off. It was just hanging there by some skin. Ewwww. Kinda almost felt sorry for the guy.
