You are right though, Big Ben is a reference to London. As an extra clue: the booktitle is a single word. The book itself caused quite an uproar when first published.
You have gotten some bonus points already however: MAD's Spy of course and even Ellis Nadler (that was unintended: I just 'stole' an image of a guy with a butterflynet, but the artist's name wasn't given and I didn't recognize it, allthough it seemed a familiar style

As for the image of the grass: also look at the building next to the Tower, and try to think about what you were doing this weekend...
